Program description

CARMA delivers text (SMS / MMS) and voice communications on behalf of participating dealerships operated by their staff using the CARMA platform (operated by AutoCity LLC).

Consent

Dealerships only send messages to consumers who have provided prior express consent through a published dealership form, in-store interaction, or inbound message. Consent records are retained per workspace.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies by lead activity and appointment cadence. Typical volume is fewer than 10 messages per consumer per month.

Fees

Message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier. AutoCity LLC and the contacting dealership do not charge consumers for SMS or voice messages.

Opt-out

Reply STOP to any text message to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help. Opt-outs are honored across the dealership's CARMA workspace within seconds.

Quiet hours

Outbound messages are restricted to local business hours per the consumer's time zone, in line with TCPA guidance.

Supported carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Service is available on major US carriers, subject to carrier capability.

Privacy

Information collected through messaging is handled under the Privacy Policy. We do not sell consumer messaging data.
